Our company, the "Sophie Club" located in Oakland, California, owes its name to French artist Sophie Turrel. We have been importing Sophie's cards to the U.S. for several years after discovering them in a small shop in southern France.

Sophie combines a sense of humor with a remarkable drawing talent. The concept of a surprising story told in a tri-fold card is original and unique.

Editions des Correspondances, publishers for a group of talented artists in Grenoble, France, uses the finest materials and printing techniques to create the highest quality product. For the Sophie Turrel cards, the publisher chose a beautiful paper and a printing method that makes each card look hand watercolor. Printing of these cards takes thre weeks, start to finish.

We are pleased to introduce several other artists from France: Marie Cardouat, Gabrielle Grimaldi, Marie-Anne Foucart, Lali, Cecilia Ambroggio, and Anne-Sophie Rutsaert.
